exist in 08 is a set of Live Art explorations, collaborations, installations, performances and forums held at three sites across Queensland. Artists from three generations and four continents will perform and discuss issues of Live Art practice.
exist in 08 takes place from October 22 - 26, 2008 in Brisbane (Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts and Metro Arts) and on November 1st in Toowoomba (USQ Artsworx).

7a*11d formed in January 1997 out of a collectively expressed need to see how a mutual interest in performance art might manifest itself. The ZAZ Festival for performance art is a unique initiative in Israel. This dynamic and experimental laboratory of live art moves between different physical and human spaces in Israel, and between various forms of action, including frontal performances in a variety of heterogeneous spaces; simultaneous performances in multiple sites; actions on the streets and in public buildings that have a charged sociopolitical meaning; and workshops for students and for the general public. About 15 Israeli artists and 15 artists from England, Poland, Ireland, Croatia and Serbia will participate in the Festival.

Performing Arts Chicago (PAC) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) present the second annual PAC/edge Performance Festival: A Convergence of Chicago Artists, an eclectic mix of the city's artists in an expanded six-week festival.
